Editorial Note: You will notice that I re posted this article and gave credit to the originating source and author. I state this for information purposes since I am investigating this case and keeping a sharp eye out for shenanigans, chicanery, hi jinx, tomfoolery, etc... and happened upon the web site of a gay activist which featured copy and pasted "news" stories without due credit to the source (plagiarism) and featured numerous photos of men engaged in explicit homosexual activity. My question is why this guys' blog site is being "tolerated" by the government powers that be? I'm sure if I embelished my blogs with pornographic materials to "spice it up" for my visitors, I would be shut down in a second! That blog should have an age check page.
Linda Harvey encourages prayer for harassed high school teacher
How would you like to wake up one morning to find that the New York Times, Washington Post, MSNBC, all your local TV stations and media outlets coast to coast are dissecting you and your posts on Facebook?
In a case of unbridled bullying and harassment, the Human Rights Campaign and a New Jersey “gay” advocacy group are jumping all over a Union High School teacher. If she loses her job – and she teaches in liberal New Jersey, so it’s outrageous but possible – these reprehensible actions might qualify as libel.What could Viki Knox possibly have done to deserve such attention? Is she a felon? Has she embezzled school funds? Did she steal cookies at a bake sale? No, she posted – imagine this – opinions about homosexuality on her Facebook page! Yes, the New York Times is cutting staff, but somehow they find time to pile on a New Jersey special education teacher because she expressed her dismay over a school bulletin board praising famous “lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender” people. I applaud her for having enough real heart and caring about kids that she found this misleading and harmful propaganda disturbing. What’s the next breaking news story at the Times: Laura’s and Jenna’s text messages to each other in biology class?
Viki’s Facebook posts were originally confined to a dialogue among her actual friends, but then others whom she did not know began to jump in with the usual accusations – that she was hateful, prejudiced, blah, blah, blah. She posted several quizzical comments wondering who these new people were. She also commented that “homosexuality is a perverted spirit that has existed from the beginning of creation.” This wise insight, which may serve to educate many people during her 15 minutes of fame, has demanded nothing less than full-on retribution, as only the charming homosexual lobby and their lock-step media co-dependents can deliver it. And I include in that group the partisan Times, MSNBC, Huffington Post, the Daily Kos and others.
One very strange twist in the whole story is the role of an attorney named John Paragano. He claims to be the one who alerted Garden State [In]Equality to the Facebook posting (slow day at court, apparently), and is even quoted as saying, “Hateful public comments from a teacher cannot be tolerated. She has a right to say it. But she does not have a right to keep her job after saying it.” John might want to get himself an attorney for that future libel case Viki may have.
Yet Paragano surely already has an attorney, or possibly several. This is the same John Paragano , former Union Township (NJ) municipal court judge, who recently divorced a New York radio personality, Diane Prior, and received probation after a 2009 assault charge. It seems he attacked his wife, then posted unflattering material about her on the Internet. His probation agreement includes refraining from such Internet activities again, as well as – wait for it – undergoing mental-health/anger management counseling. You can’t make this stuff up.
Paragano resigned from the bench after a DWI and an earlier assault charge in 2004 involving then-girlfriend Diane. Classy guy.
So with such a stellar and credible front man, the Human Rights Campaign launches its “Get Viki” campaign. Email her principal. Get her fired. Here’s our spokesman, fresh from anger management class. But among vitriolic “GLBT” aficionados, this can’t be all that unusual.
Besides the sketchy types like Paragano ready to jump on decent Americans, it’s becoming clear that HRC and other advocates for deviance must recruit others to specifically conduct search and destroy missions. How else could such bigoted and intolerant nationwide campaigns get legs so quickly?
However it’s occurring, paid and/or voluntary “gay”-stapo members are trolling the web and social media looking for a crisis to invent. These pink jihadists, diligent to protect the upstanding reputation of sodomy, are ready with slurs, innuendo and other mud-slinging at a moment’s notice to pelt the ordinary, tradition-minded citizen.
Once the unwashed mob is mobilized into action, HRC, Garden State [In]Equality and their fellow travelers launch their well-honed but reprehensible tactic of screaming bloody murder over nothing. It’s pointless to debate with them, because their goal is fear, intimidation, even anarchy and revolution. If a few innocent people suffer along the way, they don’t care. This is the authentic face of sexually perverted “tolerance.”
Whether it’s just “Joe-mo-sexual on the street,” the casual groupie or people actually compensated by HRC or others in some fashion, there are plenty of mindless liberals ready to haunt conservatives in cyberspace. There’s also the Change.org website which can rally what seems like a million clueless “progressives” at a moment’s notice. Or maybe it’s really just 20 or so smelly guys and gals in their aunts’ basements, who juggle numerous distinct email, Facebook and Twitter identities. Perhaps it’s a very small mob, after all.
Whatever is going on, it’s more than just an annoyance to the Viki Knoxes of America, everyday people just living life, who dare in their own circles to stand up for the truth. These folks are heroes.
Over the past few years, there have emerged a growing number of noted defenders of truth:
- Peter LaBarbera and Americans for Truth, whose recent annual banquet site was vandalized by a proud activist objecting to the appearance of Scott Lively. Concrete was thrown through a window wrapped in a sign: “Shut Down Lively.”
- Julea Ward and Jennifer Keeton, both expelled from graduate programs when they wouldn’t advocate homosexual behavior;
- Scott Lively, falsely accused of advocating harm to homosexuals in Uganda;
- Kenneth Howell, who temporarily lost his faculty position at University of Illinois for teaching his class about traditional morality;
- Brian Camenker, whose powerhouse group, Mass Resistance, was falsely labeled a “hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center;
- And add to the spurious SPLC “hate” listings, the American Family Association, Family Research Council, Americans for Truth, Concerned Women for America, Traditional Values Coalition, the entire population of Texas and all the ships at sea.
We need not be intimidated by these tactics, but study them and anticipate them. Pro-family warriors should marshal a response team for these times when the ordinary citizen is suddenly thrown on Sodom’s sacrificial altar. What is needed is for this evil to be exposed to light and truth.
Please join me in praying for Viki Knox, that she is exonerated (since, from all appearances, she did no wrong), that she has many supporters come alongside her, that she remains strong and steadfast, even during persecution, and that this publicity serves only to exalt the truth, despite its evil intent.
