Iran's Murals

This is not quite a repost of a Huffington Post article which came out yesterday. I didn't want to waste the space, but I have provided my commentary, along with photos and a link back to the source (which appears below).

IRAN'S MURALS

The Huffington Post had an interesting but boring short article yesterday about murals that were painted in major cities in Iran starting 33 years ago when they invaded the US Embassy after overthrowing the Shah. I have included two photos from the article to show you examples of those murals.

Well, sometimes one needs to worry about payback, and about a year ago, I began looking in my piles of papers for my old copy of a political editorial cartoon by Andy Donato which was published by the Toronto Sun in 1979. I tried every Internet search engine and came up with nothing which is why I began digging.
Today, after this article was published, I decided to put my crappy old copy online, but before I did, I managed to do another search and came up with a better resolution copy which I am including here.

Perhaps Osama Bin Laden should be glad that he's dead. If he wasn't, and his fellow practitioners of the "Religion of Peace" saw this next photo, they would have taken care of him themselves. Why the CIA doesn't think of stuff like this boggles the mind.
